Christopher Reeve’s Son Is All Grown Up And Inherited His ‘Superman’ Dad’s Chiseled Good Looks

It’s not unusual to find kids that are the spitting image of one of their parents. It’s fairly common, especially in the limelight of Hollywood celebrities. Reese Witherspoon has a daughter that looks like her mirror image. Chrissy Teigen’s daughter, Luna, is a clone of how her daddy looked when he was a baby.

One young man shows this quite well. It is Will Reeve, the youngest son of Christopher Reeve.Christopher had three children, a son and daughter with Gae Exton and a second son with actress Dana Morosini. It is Dana and Christopher’s son that reminds people of his famous father in his younger days.

Will has stayed out of the Hollywood spotlight. In recent years, he has been working on his education and starting to build a career in the sports news arena. Recently, however, he made a public appearance that brought him back into the spotlight.

Will’s father, Christopher, brought his talent to the big screen as an actor, film director, producer, and screenwriter. He was also talented equestrian and activist. Christopher, however, was most known for his iconic role as Superman in 1978’s Superman: The Movie. He even won the BAFTA award for Most Promising Male Newcomer for this performance.

His portrayal of Superman was so well received he went on to make three sequels: Superman II in 1980, Superman III in 1983, and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace in 1987. He also appeared in other films including The Remains of the Day and The Bostonians.

An accident in 1995 changed the course of Christopher’s life. He was thrown from a horse and severely injured, leaving him a quadriplegic for the rest of his life. He was only 42 when it happened.

Christopher got around in a wheelchair, though he required a portable ventilator. His wife, Dana, became his constant companion. They focused their efforts on activism after the accident.

To further their activism, they founded the Christopher Reeve Foundation, which was later renamed to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. They also help co-found the Reeve-Irvine Research Center. The couple’s focus was on lobbying for stem cell research and on behalf of those afflicted with spinal cord injuries.

Christopher passed away in 2004, at the age of 52. His wife, Dana, died a couple of years later due to lung cancer. This left their son, Will, without parents.

Now that Will is all grown up, people notice how much Will resembles his Dad, sharing many of his famous good looks. Will and Christopher aren’t twins, but there’s no denying their similarities, especially that chiseled jawline.

On November 16, 2017, Will made an appearance at the annual fundraising gala for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Dressed to kill, Will looked much like his dad. He posed on the red carpet along with Matthew and Alexandra, his older half siblings.

After both Dana and Christopher passed away, Will went to live with a childhood friend. Dana wanted their son to remain in the community in which he had grown up. She made arrangements for him to stay there after she passed away.

Will told People magazine that he and his father shared a love of sports. It was a major part of their lives, whether they were playing it, watching it, or talking about it. Christopher actually watched one of Will’s hockey games on the day he passed away.

Will’s career pays tribute to the bond he and his father shared around sports. He attended Middlebury College, eventually interning at Good Morning America. He ended up working at GMA as a production assistant before graduation. Will eventually landed a job on ESPN’s SportCenter after graduation. He joined them in 2014 as a contributor.
